Outreach theatre

“Nothing is built on stone. All is built on sand, but we must build as if the sand were stone… ” Jorge Louis Borges

Since 2007, Dramaticules has been travelling the length and breadth of France with its outreach theatre repertory. It is comprised of staged-readings and small-scale pieces. Each representation is followed by an exchange with the audience.

The staged-reading format, which is light but nonetheless spectacular, is very adaptable. The Dramaticules teams are equipped in such a way so as to be autonomous. They recreate, in whatever type of venue they find themselves, the intimate setting of a theatre. These staged readings take on the form of a recital. The performance itself, combined with the meticulous attention paid to the creation of a music and sound environment by Jérémie Le Louët and Théo Pombet, make these readings an immersive experience. Between the two of them, they create “live” the soundtrack to the tales, whilst the listener-spectator conjures up his or her own images in their mind.

Dramaticules performs in museums, canal boats, coaches, libraries, universities, companies, parks (public and private), cellars, churches, prisons, schools, socio-cultural centres, theatres, hospitals and private homes…
